This club will focus on drama analysis, in which students will view various stage productions of popular plays—old and modern—to gain knowledge of and appreciation for elements and terminology related to drama. Students will also be given opportunities to participate in improv games, during which students will be presented with simple scenarios and must act out skits without any form of preparation (yes, this is as fun and entertaining as it sounds). In addition to this, students will be encouraged to memorize and present a monologue or soliloquy from a play of their choice (upon the approval of myself). Please keep in mind that this club is a basic introduction to drama, so no school stage productions are planned as of right now. 
Grade levels: This club is open for students in grades 8-12.
