The SADD club at Giles High School was first formed in December 1988. Then, SADD stood for Students Against Driving Drunk. Now, SADD has expanded its horizons and stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions.
SADD is one of the most popular clubs at GHS, and the members encourage everyone in the community to think twice before they make their decisions. SADD sponsors many activities throughout the year, especially for Homecoming, SnowCourt, Prom, and Graduation. At many meetings, a guest speaker will visit to inform students about ways to say "no" to drugs, alcohol, and other destructive decisions in our lives.
