Dress Code

A student's dress and apperance shall not be such that it causes disruption, distracts others from the educational process, or creates a health or safety problem. Students must comply with the specific building dress regulations listed below. The only exceptions to these rules are approved gym suits or school activities.

• No wearing of hats or headgear inside the building
• Shorts, skirts, skorts, and dress lengths must be no more than 2 ½ inches above the knee. Top straps must be at least 2 ½ inches wide, with minimum exposure of shoulders or back.
• No attire can expose any part of the midriff or lower back, even while seated.
• No skin-tight pants or dresses, low-cut blouses, or dresses allowed.
• No clothing referring to obscene/suggestive language, alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs.
• Students may be referred for a dress code violation anytime during the day.
• No pants worn with the waistband below the hips.
• No metal accessories or anything that could harm persons or property.
• All men's sleeveless shirts must be fitted under the arms.
